Comparative International Education
Discussing other educational systems, as well as non-conventional ways of educating. Academic in nature, this class required that I wrote a research paper. I chose the topic of university studies in France and in the US, as I was reflecting on my experience in Oregon.

International Students and Scholars Services
My wish to be an International Student Advisor (ISA) is the main reason for my being in the IEM program. In this class, I get to familiarize myself with SEVIS (Student Exchange Visitor Information System) and also to debate the ethical implications of different styles of advising.
International Partnerships
This 3-day intensive course taught me about the process in which universities engage to create partnerships. The class was taught by Christopher Johnstone. It included the study of the rationales behind making partnerships, the study of MOUs (Memorandums of Understanding) and MOAs (Memorandums of Agreement), along with a simulation between universities. The last day of this class was focused on a case study, which involved research about an international partnership.

As the president of our university, I was charged with approving the partnerships and signing the papers.
International Education Policy
During my work studying International Policy, I analyzed a policy by writing a paper and presenting about my conclusions.Three pieces were produced from this class- a presentation, a policy brief (or summary) and a policy analysis. You will find the products of this class on this page.
