Shalom lekulam!
This week, we learned how to read. Yes, it’s that easy! We went over the Hebrew letters and the sounds they make, as well as the short vowels, and how they work together to form syllables and words. We transliterated English phrases in Hebrew and read them out loud.
We also learned some basic expressions and greetings.
Lastly, we listened to the song “Ani Veata” (me and you), and translated it together.
