February bittersweet month of get-together and hectic last-minute details in order to gear up for my placement in India! Literally, my friends in NyC and Boston hand-delivered my passport & visa to me three days before my departure (Thank you Parita & Vincent!) If that doesn’t tell you how much preparation was needed to pursue my passion in socially responsible business practices and a life-long goal to travel to India, well, I don’t know what will!
For those that I didn’t get a chance to see before I leave, hopefully we can catch up on web-chat over the next four months! Even though it is up to a 13.5 hour time difference, we’ll make it work! I’m available via e-mail, Facebook, or Skype/Google hangout.

In the meantime, I’d like to thank my parents, my aunts/uncles/cousins, friends (childhood buddies, B7 Bryant ladies, Deltas, and a lot of other folks!), Simmons MBA’rs as well as the new friends whom I meant through the Frontier Market Scouts (FMS) Program for their support in helping me make this happen.
Until then, I’m going to be packing until 5am and head to Boston Logan Airport after that for a 7:30am flight. Two suitcases, a back-pack (thank you Linda for loaning that to me!) along with my beloved Brookstone “Nap” pillow & eye mask (which has trekked with me on multiple adventures) should get me through a 24+hour flight.
Can’t wait to “Eat” all the delicious curries through the country, “Pray” for inner peace & balance…and, well, how can not one fall in “Love” with India?!? See you all on the other side of the globe! 🙂
