Landed in Ahmedabad (aka “Ahhmm-da-baadd”)

Namaste (it’s “Hello” in Hindi)!

 

Finally arrived in Ahmedabad after up to a 30 hour travel time (which doesn’t include the 13.5 hour time difference!) Not going to lie, even I broke my own travel record on this one. I don’t envy folks that often have to travel back between the US and India for business or  personal. I must admit, going from 30 degrees to up to 80 degrees (kind of) makes up for it.

 

My flight route was this:  Boston –> NyC –> New Delhi –> Ahmedabad

 

(Let’s just say, I’ve got my fill of airport and airplane food for a long while …maybe I could’ve given Anthony Bourdain a run for his money for this “Layover” show?! Who knows!)

 

Got my first fill of veggie curry (because the entire state is vegetarian), which was a delicious (sorry, no picture was taken, but after a long flight, it was the best comfort food ever!) Apparently, I  have to meet the founder tomorrow morning at 10am (they work Saturday’s here). Looking forward to meeting Rajeshbhai and learning about his inspirational “second salt worker march” through SABRAS!
