Presenting “Gandhi’s Gujarat: Vibrant Diversity”

gujarat_book The Center for Conflict Studies is pleased to announce the publication of its first book: “Gandhi’s Gujarat: Vibrant Diversity” by Dr. Pushpa Iyer. This “tea table book” features photographs taken by participants in the J-term course “Journey Through Gandhi’s Land” and provides an introduction to the history, politics, and culture of Gujarat, covering topics such as development, gender, and cultural sites and customs. The book is available on the MIIS website for $75.00, a portion of which will go to the Mother Theresa’s Home for the Dying and Destitute in Ahmedabad, India.
