CCS and your career:
Although I haven’t started my professional career yet, I will take this professional experience and what I’ve learned along the way with me and apply throughout my work.
Personal Highlights:
I’ve studied abroad in secondary school for a year in New Zealand, and for two summers in undergraduate in Greece and Morocco. In the summer of 2013 I attended a symposium, sponsored by the International Peace and Security Institute, in The Hague on post-conflict transitions and international justice. At MIIS I have conducted research on economic development, corruption, gun violence, gun culture, and conflict analysis. After graduating MIIS, I intend to temporarily move back to the Mid-West to be close to family and my partner until she finishes her doctorate in clinical psychology. I hope to convince her to move to California or the North East where we can both begin and further our professional careers.
