Tuesday, June 2
Meet in Jacaranda Hotel Lobby at 8am and we will walk to Aga Khan together; Class is from 8:30am-1pm and 2-5pm each day

Thursday, June 4
Class (8:30-1pm and 2-5pm) Optional Evening Event: NGO/Social Enterprise Meetup 5-8:30pm in Nairobi; Event celebrates the end of one cycle of an Ashoka-funded SPIRE project to train young Kenyans for NGO work. Program faculty come from Rockefeller Foundation, One Acre, and a nonprofit focusing on deworming programs. Meet in hotel lobby at 5:30pm.

Friday, June 5
Class (8:30-1pm and 2-5pm) Optional Evening Event: Climate Change The Conversation Performances (6-8pm) or you might want to go hear music at the Rooftop Sundowner 6-10pm.

Saturday, June 6
(6:20am-5pm) Optional Full-Day Tour of Nairobi including: National Park tour, Baby elephants, Giraffe Rescue Center, Bomas of Kenya or Karen Blixen Museum Tour in Nairobi…if you still have energy consider self-organizing a trip to the Go Down Gig Arts Centre Festival from 6-8pm

Sunday, June 7
Half-Day Tour (10am-4pm) of Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha (Uber option for National Museum segment if we have anyone still interested in the City Center tour) . Optional movie night at the Sankara Hotel at 7pm on the rooftop. Showing: “The Bright Side“.

Monday, June 8
Class (8:30-1pm and 2-5pm) Suggested Self-organizing Event: How She Does It Dinner or Running Group at 5:45 (email cmeyer@miis.edu to join).

Tuesday, June 9
7:30am yoga at Aga Khan: Class (9am-1pm and 2-5pm); Alumni Event at 6:00pm at Aga Khan 9 West Building (large room with a view)

Wednesday, June 10
Class (8:30-1pm and 2-5pm); Closing dinner at 6:30pm at the Open House Restaurant in the Westlands

Thursday, June 11
Class (8:00-1pm and 1:30-3:30pm) Optional Self-Organizing Event: Roots Festival Thursday Night Music
