Last Winter Session Event – Whale Watching

On Saturday, a small group of MIIS ESL and TESOL students went whale watching!  It was a perfect, sunny day and we saw more than our fair share of sea creatures, including sea lions, otters, dolphins, and whales.  We even saw a group of dolphins harassing some whales. At least that’s what they told us it was, since all it looked like to us was a foamy mess of fins and tails.  We all stared in awe as we guessed what the whales did to make the dolphins so mad. It might have been a rough day for the animals, but we all had a good time!
