It’s Gettin’ Hot out Here!

Summer weather has come to the Monterey Peninsula with sunny skies and hot days!  Students have taken advantage of the picnic tables by the Holland Center and the patio chairs at Samson to relax and enjoy the favorable weather.

Besides being busy with studies, recent activities have included a celebration of Earth Day in the Ecodome, an environmentally friendly luxury tent, sponsored by the Eco-Infinity Group!

The following week brought the final MIIS Student Social Hour of the 2013-2014 school year. IESL students were able to mingle and chat with graduate students currently engaged in various studies at MIIS.  The free pizza and drinks were great too!

And most recently, the IESL program hosted an ice cream social, inviting students and professors from the TESOL, Teaching a Foreign Language, and International Education Management programs to attend.  Close to 40 ice cream lovers showed up for a tasty treat and some relaxing conversation in the campus garden.
