18th Annual International Development Conference at the Harvard Kennedy School

Registration is now open for the 18th Annual International Development Conference at the Harvard Kennedy School (April 14, 2012), an exclusive student-run opportunity to network and engage with leading academics, practitioners, policymakers and students concerned with creating a better world. This year’s Conference, themed ‘7 Billion: Development in a New World’, will comprise a range of panels and workshops on the latest research and policy approaches in the development field, featuring leading academics and policy experts from all over the world. The diverse and timely set of topics covered will include: economic policy challenges in the Middle East after the Arab Spring, business at the base of the pyramid, challenges of corruption, gender in development, promoting inclusive growth, and many more. This year features several exciting participants and speakers, including Martin Wolf, Abhijit Banerjee, Aruna Roy, and a video address from Ban Ki-moon, plus many others.
