The Monterey Institute of International Studiesis collaborating with Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) to offer the Business Continuity Certificate starting in February 2013. The course is designed for students interested in business continuity, disaster recovery, and contingency planning. There will be an informational session to explain further the advantages of gaining the skills and knowledge DRII provides.

The DRII certificate offering is designed for professionals who are new to continuity planning or current planners who are looking for a solid “how-to” guide for building a business continuity program within their organization. The certificate course is a non-credit workshop that is designed to introduce the necessary aspects of a holistic business continuity management program and to provide concrete guidance on how to design and implement a plan for the participant’s organization.
