This day-long symposium focuses on incorporating human rights education into the community college classroom, with emphasis on lesson plans, pedagogic resources and materials, and strategies for reaching diverse student populations.

Applications due April 30, 2013.
In addition, SHREI is accepting nominations for the 2013 Outstanding Student Project Award, which aims to recognize, reward, and advance the exceptional work of community college student(s) and/or community college student organizations dedicated to raising awareness of human rights, with special consideration for projects that reference the broader international context. Student Award nominations are due April 30, 2013. See attached or shrei.stanford.edu for more information.
