The Sentinel Project “Introduction to Technology for Human Rights Course” Is Open For Registration

indexThe Sentinel Project for Genocide Prevention is a project run by volunteers who work on identifying communities at the risk of genocide. The organization is based in Toronto, Canada, and everybody can join and support the project with genocide research, information technology and risk management.

Starting on September 16, 2013, the project will offer a 5 week online course Intro to Technology or Human Rights. “Students will learn about the relationship between technological tools and human rights through a combination of theory, principles, and real-world case studies from Kenya, Iran, and the Arab Spring.” Slots fill up fast, so get ready to register and pay the $49 (Canadian Dollar).
