Working at the Center for Advising & Career Services

Throughout the summer I have been working at the Center for Advising and Career Services (CACS) at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS). Working at the CACS office has given me the opportunity to engage in professional development and career planning on a daily basis. One of my main responsibilities has been to post jobs for MIIS students and alumni to Zocalo, the local MIIS job board. Doing this has given me the unique opportunity to work closely with employers, job descriptions, and understanding the hiring process. I hope that the work that I have done at the CACS office has allowed graduate students to gain meaningful employment and allowed them to further their careers. Soon the Fall semester will be starting and I will start my new position at the office of the Graduate School of International Policy and Management (GSIPM)! Stay tuned to learn more!
