This panel discussion will bring together the students from Intercultural Competency (ICC) courses at the Monterey Institute. In 2012, the Monterey Institute brought forth the ICC initiative encouraging students to develop their skills in both foreign languages and intercultural communications. Developing intercultural skills are integral in foreign language and culture learning, and promotes global citizenship. Bringing together students from Spring 2013 ICC courses, we will discuss what they have learned so far in their courses, how relevant it is for them to have such skills, and what they plan to do with it in their futures.
