About MALL

Welcome visitors,

This resource is being co-constructed by students in the Masters in Language Teaching programs at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS) to help teachers select and evaluate the appropriateness of integrating mobile-assisted language learning into traditional teacher-engineered and teacher-designed instructional settings.

The site contains academic resources, reviews of existing MALL applications, sample lesson plans, and tools to help teachers evaluate and implement MALL.  We hope that you find these resources useful!

Dr. Thor Sawin,
Associate Professor of Linguistics (tsawin@miis.edu);
