Michelle Fredrickson

Aloha! I have advanced my professional skills as an educator over the past 11 years working both at home and abroad. My classroom-teaching career has been geared toward the empowerment of children. Through my travels, I have since discovered my passion for creating cross-cultural educational experiences. I am a proponent of infusing experiential learning with cultural exchange to create leaders and reflective problem solvers. By bridging my educational experiences and professional development, I look forward to launching a career in the field of International Education Management as a graduate of the Monterey Institute of International Studies, A Graduate School of Middlebury College.

My passion and commitment to education stems from my longtime involvement in Mixed Martial Arts.  I began my teaching journey 21 years ago in New Mexico when I started training and competing as a martial artist and amateur kick-boxer. My love for mixed martial arts was instantaneous. By the age of 16, I was instructing others, teaching technical classes, and running conditioning drills. Coaching later inspired me to pursue a degree as an elementary educator and I have since taught in California, China, and Hawaii.
