Fall Festival Oct. 29-31!

This Wednesday - Friday, Student Council will be hosting the first annual Fall Festival! Pumpkin carving, cornhole, pie, chili and more! Join in on the Wednesday pumpkin carving, Thursday movie night, & Friday festival.

Monterey Symphony Performance at MIIS Nov. 5!

In collaboration with the eMIISsaries, the Monterey Symphony will host a special chamber concert at Irvine Auditorium on Wednesday, November 5th at 7:30pm. Get your ticket in Student Services now! $10 for students and $20 general admission.

Beryl Levinger Profile

Professor Beryl Levinger Loves Seeing Former Students as Colleagues

Like she does with so many things, Professor Beryl Levinger took the word “sabbatical” and turned it on its head. While formally on sabbatical from the Monterey Institute during the last academic year, she did almost everything but observe the term’s original meaning, i.e. take a break from work. In this case, “everything” includes working on 14 different projects consulting for organizations such as the World Bank, UNHCR, Save the Children, the Packard Foundation, and the International Red Cross in 11 different countries including Morocco, Colombia, Israel, and Switzerland. Continue Reading →
