Course Particulars: Understanding challenges to building peace after a Maoist led war in Nepal. Meeting government officials, local and international NGOs, former Maoists members and civil society members. Travel to Kathmandu (Capital), the Terai region and the Hill region. Possible visit to Mountain region.

Approximate Budget: $1800-$2000 (Includes Board, Lodge, Local Travel, some sightseeing). Budget will be finalised in early November once we know the number of students going and we have hotels and other logistics finalised. Budget is currently quoted on the higher side. Airfare and visa costs to be borne additionally by students.
