– I have lived outside of Illinois (my home state) three times: Wellington, New Zealand, Leone, American Samoa, and Monterey, California, and all three have been next to the Pacific Ocean and in a tsunami hazard zone.

– I have studied: French, te reo Maori, Samoan, and Spanish.

– Most of my travels have been to islands and countries in the South Pacific: American Samoa, Australia, Western Samoa, and New Zealand. Other travels include Canada and many of the states in the US including Alaska and Hawaii.

– If I could travel anywhere in the world tomorrow, I would visit Iceland.
