Today we embarked upon the pétanque courts by Fisherman’s Wharf to play our first rounds of pétanque! (For the unfamiliar, according to Wikipedia “pétanque” can be thought of as “a form of boules where the goal is to throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet, literally ‘piglet’, while standing inside a circle with both feet on the ground,” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petanque.)
