SSC students are quickly compiling information to increase awareness about composting as well as recycling on the MIIS campus and within student residences. The MIIS administration is supporting signage so all students understand the City of Monterey’s new recycling standards. Students are additionally working to support the City’s plan for a compost collection system. Furthermore, the SSC hopes to disperse all of this information to incoming classes so they understand how to ensure that waste is utilized on campus, and do the right thing at home as well.
