Dance for the dead beneath the Skytree

by Alcide “Three” Guilory III

Location: GSIPM Help Desk, McCone Upper Level

We danced in the Obon Festival, which celebrates one’s, ancestors. The festival took place at the foot of the world’s formerly tallest tower, the Tokyo Skytree. The pairing of the tradition and modernity taught me much about the spirit of Japan.
