I took this photo in a historic part of Kathmandu in front of an old royal palace and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bricks demonstrate the reconstruction taking place after damage from the 2015 earthquake. Despite their circumstances and susceptibility to natural disasters, the people of Nepal remain resilient and compassionate.
