About Me

I want to make the world more accessible.

My goal in life is to enrich the lives of others by bringing the world closer to them, adapting foreign materials to their native languages and cultures.

A bit about my background: I’m originally from North Carolina, and I lived in Japan for the past five years – first on an island that is depopulating at such a rate that you can buy a house for 0 yen, and then up in the mountains next to an actively erupting volcano (you may be picturing lava, but the reality was it mostly ash – lots and lots of ash).

Now I’m at MIIS, the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS), where I’m studying Translation and Localization Management.

You may view a list and short description of courses I’ve taken at MIIS here and my resume here.
