They read. They Translate. They Teach.
As an undergraduate studying Spanish and Education at UC Davis, they took a detour into translating for non-profit California Center for Cooperative Development (CCCD) that sparked a new interest leading the course of their new life and career. From 2018-2020 Grizelda taught and focused on bilingual learning and child development in both one to one and head-start setting. Their continued love for language and translation experience paved their way to start their Masters degree in Translation and Localization Management at Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) in 2020. At MIIS, they pursue their newly discovered passion of language, technology, and business aiming to create work that is both community and globally driven in video-game localization.
Grizelda Ambriz resides in Oxnard, CA where they enjoy reading (Webtoons of all), playing games, and spending quality time with their family and pets.
