Four-peat: Monterey Institute’s International MBA Program Wins
Fourth Straight Top 15 Ranking From Entrepreneur Magazine

Program Places 14th in Annual Entrepreneur/Princeton Review Rankings

Monterey, CA – The sustained quality and innovation of the Monterey Institute’s Fisher International MBA Program has won the program a top 15 ranking for the fourth straight year from Entrepreneur magazine and The Princeton Review. Entrepreneur’s annual survey of over 2,300 schools ranks the top 25 graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurship programs in the country; the Monterey Institute placed 14th this year.

“Being ranked among the top 15 MBA programs in the country four straight years really speaks to the sustained quality of our program and the students we attract,” commented Fisher International MBA Program Chair Bruce Paton. “Our program is enriched immeasurably by the fact that our students come here from all over the world, and are challenged constantly to apply their knowledge in practical situations through our International Business Plan program.”

The Institute’s ranking can be viewed at www.entrepreneur.com/topcolleges, along with information on overall trends found with social and sustainable entrepreneurship, experiential learning, and entrepreneurship as a means of reaching out both internationally and locally.

“The consistent top 15 ranking achieved by our MBA program illustrates the practical value of our interdisciplinary approach,” said Institute President Sunder Ramaswamy. “At the Institute, business, language, and policy students work side by side on projects addressing real-world concerns, and learn to use multiple disciplines to analyze problems in multiple dimensions.”

The Institute’s Fisher International MBA Program was evaluated based on key criteria in the areas of academics and requirements, students and faculty, and outside-the-classroom experiences. Amy Cosper, VP/editor in chief at Entrepreneur, said “Each school that made the list demonstrates excellence in one or more areas—whether in regards to course offerings, the success of students post-graduation, sponsored mentorship programs, or other important factors. While each program is unique, their inclusion in this ranking solidifies their place in an elite category of institutions offering a superlative level of education and preparedness that will play a key role in ensuring the success of tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.”The results of the survey, along with the analysis, appear in the October issue of Entrepreneur, which hits newsstands on September 22.
