HISTORIC UN-MIIS MOU
On Thursday, November 12, 2009, the UN Assistant Secretary General for General Assembly and Conference Management, Franz Baumann, will be on campus to sign an historic Memorandum of Understanding with the Monterey Institute of International Studies to cooperate in the training of candidates for competitive language examinations at the United Nations.
SPECIAL CAREER PRESENTATION ON UN LANGUAGE CAREERS: Â THURSDAY, NOV 12, IRVINE AUD, 12:15 PM
After the signing ceremony, at 12:15pm, Mr. Baumann will speak in the Irvine Auditorium about language career opportunities at the United Nations, with the first 15 minutes of his speech to be given in German with simultaneous interpretation into English. There will be a question and answer session following Mr. Baumann’s remarks.

Which other translation/interpretation schools did the UN sign MOUs with?
I’d like to know what other school benefit from this same agreement.
