Tuesday, November 10, 7pm at B107, the 2010 spring trade conference operation team training session on how to conduct panel research and contact potential speakers with appropriate manner and skills, given by Tate Miller.

Thursday Nov.12, 12-2, the Trade Program Meet-and-Greet Event sponsored by the MIIS Trade Club. All the trade students and students who are interested in Trade are welcomed! It is a great opportunity to know more about the MIIS trade program from students’ perspective and the ongoing trade club events. The meeting location is Holland Center (patio) and we have Pizza and soda for you!

Friday Nov. 13 9am – 3 pm, Irvine Auditorium the MBITA conference on Global Smart Energy – Bilateral Trade and Investment Opportunities. Shannon L. Fraser, International Trade Specialist with the Office of Energy and Environmental Industries of the USDOC International Trade Administration will be a guest presenter. The conference is free for MIIS students and we still have a couple of volunteer positions on that day. If you are interested in attending or volunteering, please email lzhou@middlebury.edu

Tuesday Nov.17th 12-2, CF434, Brown Bag Lunch speaker series. The speaker is Paul Watts, the head of the Import Export bank in Northern Western region of the US. His topic will be the role that the export import bank plays in International trade and internships.
