International Professional Service Semester 2011 Information Session

When: Thursday, March 4, 6-7:30pm
Where: Morse B104
Who: Prof. De Paolis and Prof. Laurance will discuss IPSS course information, 2011 application process (due March 31!), and organization options. All interested students should attend.

IPSS offers students the opportunity to complete two academic courses (each worth 6-units) and a 6-month junior-level internship in their field.

Development Project Management Institute and DPMI Plus

When: Thursday, March 11, 6-7:30pm
Where: Morse B104
Who: Carolyn Taylor and other DPMI alumni will discuss DPMI training program dates for this summer and the DPMI Plus professional service program.
What: DPMI is a three-week training in project management and design, strategic partnership, social entrepreneurship, and facilitation as they relate to the field of international development. DPMI Plus is a course in which students complete deliverables in their field of study while serving a 3-9 month internship.

DPMI summer Monterey and Washington, DC  applications due April 1, 2010.
