What: “Voices of Hope: Science and Innovation for the Ocean” Symposium
When: Saturday, April  10th; 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Where: California State University, Monterey Bay University Center, Seaside

Human activities are taking their toll, causing many challenges for the ocean. Come hear from experts engaging in creative and cutting-edge science and technologies to help solve critical problems facing the environment. They bring us new hope for the future of our ocean. The symposium will feature discussions on such topics as: “Is The Future Really In Algae?”; “Sequestering CO2 In The Built Environment”;  and “Fishermen & Conservationists Changing The Way They Do Business: The Central Coast Groundfish Project.”
