What: The Pearson Prize for Higher Education

The Pearson Prize for Higher Education is an award designed for students have made a significant impact on their local campus and/or in their local community through work on specific projects and programs.

A total of $225,000 in Pearson Prize funding will be awarded as follows:

$10,000 Awards (20 Awards in total)

• Ten (10) to students at 4-year institutions
• Ten (10) to students at 2-year institutions

$500 Awards (50 Awards in total)

• Twenty-five (25) to students at 4-year institutions
• Twenty-five (25) to students at 2-year institutions

Eligibility Requirements:

• Students must be enrolled at accredited 4-year and 2-year institutions
• Students must have a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale
• Students must currently be enrolled at their institution with at least one year remaining until graduation
• Eligible applications must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents
• Immediate family members of Pearson or NSCS employees are not eligible to apply for the award.
• Studetns do not have to be members of NSCS or any other honors organizations to apply for the Pearson Prize.
