Following Christian Maréchal’s acclaimed exhibition of Bosnian War photographs, Café 316 presents the Monterey-based journalist’s photo essay on El Salvador civil war survivor Jade Rodríguez-Palacios.  In photographs and text, Maréchal celebrates survival, salutes personal courage, and challenges stereotypical ideas about victim-hood.
