Emily Sloane, a 2009 graduate of the MA in International Environmental Policy program, recently began an 18-month contract as a Food Security Program Manager that promises to take her from South Sudan to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. 

Prior to her current engagement, Emily worked in the outdoor leadership, natural resource management, education, sustainable agriculture and food policy fields in locales ranging from Canada’s Northwest Territories to rural France, to the North Cascades of Washington State, to her hometown of Gloucester, Massachusetts.
