MIIS Named One of the ‘Top Military-Friendly Schools’
Jump to Comments
GI Jobs magazine named MIIS as one of the top “military-friendly schools” in the nation. Publisher Rich McCormack said the magazine polled more than 7,000 schools nationwide, examining efforts to recruit and retain military and veteran students. The Monterey Institute placed within the top 15%. This semester, MIIS created an advisor just for returning veterans, a position filled by former dean and current professor Ed Laurance.
An article in the Monterey Herald highlights CSUMB’s place on the list, while at the same time mentioning the Monterey Institute for its efforts.
