MARINE seminar: An Overview on Marine Spatial Planning

The Monterey Area Research Institutions’ Network for Education (MARINE) will host its first seminar of the season on Tuesday, November 16 to discuss Marine Spatial Planning.

Guest speakers Meg Caldwell of the Environmental and Natural Resources Law & Policy Program at Stanford Law School and Larry Crowder,  Professor of Marine Biology at the Nicholas School of the Environment, Duke University will discuss:  Why Marine Spatial Planning?  What problem does it solve?  Who’s behind it and why?  Who’s not? Why?
