Call for Applicants: US Department of Homeland Security Office of Policy Fellowship

The Office of Policy Fellowship is designed to develop the next generation of leadership within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  Fellows are recruited from the nation’s top graduate programs to put their academic achievements, intellect, and professional experience to use during a critical time in American history.  Policy Fellows will provide direct assistance to top policymakers throughout the Department and will work side-by-side with experts in policy-focused areas and offices.

Candidates selected as Policy Fellows serve for two years in three, eight-month rotations throughout the Office of Policy with possible rotations to other DHS components. Upon successful completion of the program’s requirements, Fellows will have the opportunity to attain a permanent position at the Department.

 Applicants must be U.S. citizens, be able to obtain and hold a security clearance and have a graduate degree from an accredited university.
