Join critically acclaimed journalists Paul Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Gould to discuss their book “Invisible History: Afghanistan’s Untold Story”. The book builds on the authors’ 30 years of experience in Afghanistan and journalism to unravel the complexities of war, cultural legacies, and American foreign policy in Afghanistan.

From the author’s website: “Invisible History” tells the story of how Afghanistan brought the United States to this place in time after nearly 60 years of American policy in Eurasia–of its complex multiethnic culture, its deep rooting in mystical Zoroastrian and Sufi traditions and how it has played a pivotal role in the rise and fall of empires.
