You are invited to a fascinating public lecture this Thursday evening at the Monterey Institute by Dr. Elliott Norse. His lecture, “Pelagic Protected Areas: A New Way to Protect Life in the Biggest Place on Earth,” explores an important emerging dimension of ocean conservation using examples from around the world.
A pioneer in marine conservation and an engaging public speaker, Elliott is the President of Marine Conservation Biology Institute based in Bellevue, Washington with offices in California and Washington D.C.
