Opportunity to Meet With Firelight Foundation on April 7th!

Students will have a unique opportunity to meet one on one, with the executive leadership team from the Firelight Foundation on April 7th. Firelight supports grassroots organizations that help families and communities meet the needs of their children made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS and poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.

This would be a great opportunity for any students who are thinking about pursuing careers or looking for internships in Africa, working in development, child welfare or capacity development with social change organizations, or any students who are writing seminar or public policy papers focusing on any of the above areas.

There are a few slots available and space will be given out on a first come first serve basis. Individual meetings will take place from 10 to 12 on April 7th with the exact location to be announced. Students can RSVP to Maureen Fura at mfura@miis.edu.

There will also be a panel discussion open to all students from 12:10 to 1:50 in B104.
