Join the US Green Building Council-Northern California Chapter, Monterey Branch for their monthly meeting.  The April 6th meeting will be held in the offices of Ecology Action in Santa Cruz.  This month’s even is dedicated to energy efficiency retrofits.

Michael McNulty is LEED AP of RetroCom Energy Strategies, a leading technical services company focused on reducing operational costs for existing commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. He will discuss what was required to transform the old Sentinel Building into the LEED property where Ecology Action is now headquartered.

Margaret Bruce leads the Climate Group at Ecology Action, which includes the flagship program California First. Margaret will present the Energy Upgrade California program, a one-stop-shop for home improvement projects and an opportunity for local contractors to build new business.

Rick Williams leads EcoEnergyLoans, a mortgage team that provides efficiency financing options for people purchasing or refinancing their homes, and provides training for the CBPCA and other contractors in how to discuss financing to their clients for energy retrofits and solar installations. He  will describe the Distressed Property Conversion to EcoEfficient homes.
