Dr. James Barry, MBARI Senior Scientist, will speak on “Ocean health in the 22nd century”. SpectorDance Company will offer a “sneak peek” of OCEAN with original music composed by Colin Farish. Enjoy live music, wind from Cima Collina, and appetizers by Mama Selene, Quail Lodge Executive Sous Chef. A handmade ocean-theme quilt created by Judy Wheeler will be auctioned.
OCEAN is a collaborative project between SpectorDance and MBARI. Based on interviews with leading ocean scientists and underwater video footage from MBARI, SpectorDance is creating a multidisciplinary performance piece investigating the effects of human activity on our world ocean.
