Summer 2011 Fellowship Opening with The Advocacy Project

What: Work for 10-12 weeks (June-August, 2011) full-time as a Peace Fellow with The Advocacy Project for their partner organization, Democracy and Workers Rights Center (DWRC) in Ramallah, Palestine.

The Advocacy Project has partnered with the DWRC in Ramallah, Palestine to work with a fellow who will profile members of the Federation of Independent Unions, help them build IT skills and strengthen their website as well as support a new network of independent unionists as they lobby for the protection of labor rights.

The applicant must speak fluent Arabic, be a graduate student of Conflict Resolution, Human Rights, Development, and/or other related specializations and be able to attend a 3-day training in Washington, DC, from May 23-25, 2011.

The fellowship is unpaid, however fundraising opportunities are available, and a small stipend is available on a financial needs basis.
