New Storytelling Project Needs Your Ideas, Stories

As an important member of the MIIS community, we would like to invite YOU (students, faculty and staff) to join us for pizza and to be a part of a think tank for an exciting new upcoming campus wide storytelling project:

What is this new project?
It is a community wide storytelling initiative that focuses on how a culture or country has helped shape the identity of the individuals in the MIIS community (students, staff, faculty, alumni).  Using radio, video, text and photography, the goal is to create a multi-media online database that will help tell the unique cultural story of MIIS.  The hope is to turn this initiative into a MIIS tradition that will be passed on from year to year.

What will the think tank entail?
Information sharing: an overview of the project
Idea generation: help us name the project
Focus Group: discussion of motives for student and faculty involvement

When is the think tank?
4:30-5:30pm, Tuesday, November 8. (please feel free to stop by anytime, even if you can only make it to part of the session).

Where will it be?
DLC (the Commons)

PIZZA will be served!

If you are interested in this project and cannot make it to the think tank, please do not hesitate to contact project organiers Karla Micheli and Nan Liu for any questions or suggestions!  (nliu@miis.edu, kmicheli@miis.edu)

Thank you and hope to see you on Tuesday.
