Join IIE for a Virtual Session!
The Institute of International Education (IIE) will be hosting a virtual information session about the Emerging Markets Development Advisers Program (EMDAP) on Tuesday, March 6th at 12:15pm in the McCone Boardroom.
EMDAP is a cooperative activity between USAID and IIE. The program offers graduate students and post-graduates from any field of study the opportunity to gain 10-12 months of development experience in an international setting, while receiving a lucrative grant to cover working and living expenses abroad, health insurance and round trip airfare.
EMDAP Advisers serve as consultants to address specific needs in economic growth, education, health, youth & development, humanitarian assistance and other technical areas. EMDAP-targeted assistance supports the approach of building local human capacity by transferring innovative and scalable knowledge to local organizations and individuals. Currently, they have placements in Indonesia, Jordan, Ukraine, USA (USAID/HQ) and Uzbekistan. For further details on EMDAP visit www.emdap.org.
