MasterCard is Sponsoring a Contest for a Best Idea on How to Empower Women and Raise them from Poverty

MasterCard is sponsoring a contest for ‘youth’ up to 35 years old to pitch a plan to empower women and raise them from poverty. They will be giving out a $25,000 grant to the best idea. The deadline is March 8th to submit a short (5 minute) video pitch.
MasterCard is also joining hands with UN Women Singapore to re-launch Project Inspire: 5 Minutes to Change the World. Alongside today’s launch of Project Inspire, MasterCard is issuing results of its latest MasterCard Index of Women’s Advancement (MIWA) – examining various factors around the opportunities, challenges and progress women have made in our region (workforce, education and government/leadership roles).
