MPA Professor Nukhet Kardam‘s Grassroots Leadership Seminar will present research that identifies common leadership styles in grassroots organizations and contributes to a greater understanding of successful leadership in the NGO sector. We’vee invited several grassroots organizations in the Monterey Area.

Our research is aimed at identifying leadership characteristics and human networks that are unique in the NGO sector. We will have two panels: one that features California Grassroots Organizations and another that will feature a more global perspective from the Andean Alliance for Sustainable Development and Team Peru. A reception with Wine and refreshments will follow the symposium.
