South Africa: Applied Conflict Transformation Course – ACTION Support Centre

The ACTION Support Centre is offering a course on Applied Conflict Transformation in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 28th of October – 1st of November 2013. Limited funding is available from the Norwegian People’s Aid.
The course is specifically designed for people who are interested in and focus on conflict in Africa. The course will cover topics such as conflict analysis, differing forms of resistance, and offer trips to Apartheid sites. Set up and created by a team of conflict and development experts, the workshop “aims to enhance and support the work of practitioners and policy makers affected by conflict and tension.” Deadline is September 19, 2013.
