DAAD/German Academic Exchange Service Science Tour in Germany, January 2014

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invites scientists and administrators from universities and research institutions to apply for a tour that introduces cutting-edge research in the field of computer science in southwest Germany. The tour will present cutting-edge research activities in the field of computer science in southwest Germany. Visits to universities and research institutions in the cities of Constance, Freiburg, Karlsruhe and Saarbrücken are planned.

Applicants typically have a strong research background and an equally strong interest in international cooperation. As experienced scientists, their research profile matches the topic of the science tour. They must have held a PhD/doctorate for at least two years and be affiliated to a non-German university/research institute.

Those who currently work as research administrators in universities or research institutes, as policy-makers in national agencies or as other experts in the fields of science and higher education are also welcome to apply. Deadline is 29 September, 2013 and applications can be submitted online.
