IPSS Assignment: Innovations for Poverty Action – Liberia

While at the Monterey Institute, Brittany Hill focused her research in the field of Conflict Resolution. Her main regions of focus have been West Africa and South Asia. She completed her IPSS assignment at the Innovations for Poverty Action in Liberia working with the Rural Ex-combatant Reintegration Program and the Urban Youth Program. The research she is conducting while at her internship looks at the reintegration of ex-combatants and their success rate in relation to their rank. This fits wonderfully under her group’s topic of armed violence reduction in Africa.
